No regrets. One of my favorite movies now. It chapter two hbo. Wow. This movie was absolutely incredible. Glad I stumbled across it. I had nightmares of Pennywise while growing up. My brother and I watched Tim Curry's IT when my parents were out one day. I was 8. I didn't sleep for what felt like two years.
While those nightmares were horrible at the time, I look back on them nostalgically because IT was the first horror series/movie that I ever watched, and, having watched it as an adult, is one of the few that has actually scared me.
I think about kids today - those who might be as dumb as my brother and I were so many years ago - figuring out a way to watch this movie. I feel bad for them, because they won't experience what I did growing up: a good adaptation of Stephen King's IT.
This was a waste of time, and a big let down for having such a great cast. You should still watch and decide on your own, but beware that you'll be severely let down.

Ahhh where to begin? First off this group of actors has 0 chemistry between them. The dinner scene ended up more like a "meet the hated in-laws" kinda thing then a get together of old friends. The movie is 3 hrs long and yet the story felt rushed. It didn't even seem like they were friends at all honestly.
Sadly the story got lost in all noise. To add the fact that Eddie and Richie turned out to be a couple was just plain stupid. All in all I am very disappointed that Stephen King even signed off on this.
